Nova’s design team continually drive value and efficiency by promoting the intelligent use of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) and Lean manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste.
We adopt a ‘fabric first’ approach to the design of our buildings and aim to minimise the need for energy consumption through methods such as;
Nova Structures’ product offer includes a range of Detached, Semi-Detached, and Terraced houses, all built to the highest standards in a factory-controlled environment and Designed for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA). At Nova, we do not fit the external finishes to the modules in the factory as our modules have been designed to allow clients their choice of external elevational finishes, and these could include:
Traditional Clay Brickwork
Brick Slip System
Rendered Blockwork & Knapped Flint
Wall Hung Tiles
Nova modular houses are designed to sit on a variety of different foundation solutions, dependent upon local ground conditions. These include strip, pad, ground bearing, slab, piles, ground beams and an insulated slab.
